EXID - "UP&DOWN"
EXID will make a full-group comeback on Sept.
29 to celebrate tenth anniversary of debut, said the bandmates in a livestream
on Wednesday.
The album is named “X” as it stands for ten
in Greek, explained Hyerin, and also is one of the letters from the band’s
name. It signifies that it will be a collaboration with fans, added Solji.
The EP will have three tracks including focus
track “Fire” and a song named after that of its fandom community Lego.
It has been three years since the five
members put out an album together. They debuted as a team in 2012 but gained
popularity not until 2014 when “Up & Down”
went viral online. The members went separate ways in 2020 after the group’s
contract with agency Banana Culture expired.
