Blackpink, 2022 Entertainer of the Year as Time Magazine




‘Blackpink’ has been chosen as Time Magazine's 2022 Entertainer of the Year. 
This is the first time for a K-pop girl group to be given the title by the American news magazine.
BTS landed the same title in 2018.
In the article published Dec. 5, Time describes Blackpink as "the biggest girl group in the world."
"Blackpink will continue to play its role as a trendsetting icon, not only in music, but also in beauty, fashion, and other industries."
Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa has been setting new records with its latest album “Born Pink” and its lead track “Shut Down”.

In November, Blackpink became the first female K-pop act to top the Billboard 200 albums chart.
