Foreign media and IT-specialized media are praising the 4th-generation foldable phones 'Galaxy Z Fold 4' and 'Galaxy Z Flip 4' that Samsung Electronics unveiled on the 10th. It is evaluated that Samsung Electronics has clearly demonstrated its potential as a ‘leader’ of foldable phones while competing smartphone manufacturers.

The Wall Street Journal said, “Samsung’s foldable phone is the next ‘step’ of smartphones. It shows an effort to break away from smartphones that all look the same, prompting experimentation with larger screens such as rollable smartphones.” It can be interpreted that the foldable phone is contributing to bringing new vitality to the stagnant smartphone industry.

The Galaxy Zfold 4 is the lightest Galaxy Fold series of all time.

The Galaxy Zfold 4 weighs 263 grams, which is 8 grams less than its predecessor.

In fact, with the Galaxy Zfold 4 unfolded, it seemed that the display was a little closer to the square by putting it side by side with the previous one.

The most notable change on the main display was the 'Taskbar' added to the bottom of the screen in Fold 4. 6 frequently used applications (apps), 2 recently used apps, and the ability to view all apps and search bar at a glance are displayed in the task bar by default. It functions similarly to the taskbar on a Windows PC.

Tapping an app instantly displays it in full screen and makes it easy to move on, while tapping and dragging an app on the taskbar to the screen splits the screen into up to 3 pieces, making multitasking easier.

The dual-pixel (main) camera at the rear is improved from the previous 1,200 cartoon to the same 50 million pixels as the Galaxy S22, and the image sensor is 23% brighter than the previous one, allowing you to take sharp pictures at night.  It is also possible to take pictures at the same time.

Like its predecessor, the Fold 4 supports the S Pen, but it's a pity that it doesn't have a built-in slot, so you have to buy it separately and carry it with you.
