The second season of the Netflix series “D.P.” will be released on July 28, the streaming service company announced Tuesday.

"D.P." is a Korean Netflix Originaldrama series directed by 'Han Jun Hee' and based on the webtoon "D.P. Dog Day" by 'Kim Bo Tong'.

“D.P.” (=Deserter Pursuit) is a series about a special military squad sent to chase down deserters.

"D.P." (=Deserter Pursuit) members 'An Joon-ho' (Jung Hae-in) and 'Han Ho-yeul' (Koo Kyo-hwan) as they come across different stories while tracking down fellow soldiers who have deserted their posts.

The six new episodes will start from where the story left off previously, as 'An Joon-ho' (Jung Hae-in) and 'Han Ho-yeul' (Koo Kyo-hwan) confront new deserters.

The series is not shy about delivering an incisive social message about absurdities of life and unjust realities.
