'Taeyang' (Big Bang) to collaborate with 'Lisa' (Blackpink)
Blackpink's 'Lisa' will feature on 'Big
Bang' Taeyang’s upcoming solo album according to Taeyang’s agency ‘The Black
Label’ on Wednesday.
‘Lisa’ debuted as a soloist singer in
September 2021 with the single "Lalisa" In 2022, she featured in
French musician DJ Snake's "SG" along with ‘Ozuna and Megan Thee
Stallion’.
This is the first time ‘Lisa’ is
teaming up with a korean musician.
Local media reported on Wednesday that
‘Lisa’ will be collaborating with ‘Taeyang’ on his next solo album, featuring
on one of the tracks and will also be appearing in his music video.
It will be a collaboration between
‘Taeyang’, a former artist of ‘YG Entertainment’ and ‘Lisa’, who currently is
under ‘YG Entertainment’.
‘Taeyang’ is currently preparing for a
new solo album, set to be released in April. His last music was digital single
“Vibe" which was released on Jan. 13 and features ‘Jimin’ from boy band 'BTS'.
‘Taeyang’ debuted as a member of the
boy band ‘Big Bang’ in 2006 and released his first solo album two years later
in 2008.
‘Taeyang’ signed with ‘The Black
Label’ on December 2022 after being with 'YG Entertainment' for over 16 years. 'The Black Label' was founded in 2016 as a subsidiary label of 'YG Entertainment'.
The agency became independent in 2020 after 'YG Entertainment' sold its shares.
