Suga's pre-release solo single, "People Pt. 2" (feat. IU), is scheduled to be released at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 7th.

BTS member ‘Suga’ is teaming up with singer-songwriter ‘IU’ for the second time on his new solo album.

The song "People Pt. 2" (feat. IU) will be released on Friday as a pre-release track from Suga's album "D-Day". ‘Suga’ is scheduled to make a solo comeback on April 21st with the album, which will be released under his alias "Agust D".

'Big Hit Music' explained that the song is the second episode of "People" in Suga's second solo mixtape "D-2", which was released in May 2020. The song will showcase the beautiful harmony of Suga's rapping with IU's dulcet timbre.

‘IU’ is a musician who has led a successful career since her debut in 2008 and is loved by listeners of all ages.

This marks the second time ‘Suga’ and ‘IU’ are collaborating. In May 2020, the two worked together on IU's single "Eight", for which ‘Suga’ contributed to both the production and singing. The song was a huge hit, landing at the top of many global charts, including Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart.

‘Suga’, who mostly goes by ‘Agust D’ as a solo musician, is making a long-awaited solo comeback with his self-produced album "D-Day" on April 21st.

After debuting as BTS in 2013, ‘Suga’ began his solo career in 2016 with his first mixtape "Agust D" and went on to release "D-2" which is led by "Daechwita". "D-Day" will conclude Suga's first musical trilogy, according to ‘Big Hit Music’.
