'Odd Eye Circle' - ″Version Up″
‘Odd Eye Circle’, the subunit of girl
group ‘Artms’, will return with its new EP “Version Up” on July 12, its agency
'Modhaus' said Thursday.
'ARTMS' is a project group under
'Modhaus', consisting of 'JinSoul', 'Haseul', 'Kim Lip', 'Heejin', and
'Choerry'. The members are from the girl group 'LOONA'.
'Odd Eye Circle' is a trio made up of
'Kim Lip', 'Jinsoul' and 'Cheorry'.
It debuted in 2017 with its first EP
“Mix and Match” as the second subunit of girl group 'Loona' under 'BlockBerry
Creative'.
After the release of its album “Max
and Match”, the subunit became inactive and the three members focused on
Loona’s group activities.
'Odd Eye Circle' (often shortened as
‘OEC’) is the second sub-unit of girl group ‘Loona’, formed through a pre-debut
project titled "Girl of the Month".
Earlier this year, the three members
of 'Odd Eye Circle' and 'Heejin' from the girl group 'Loona' filed a lawsuit,
stating that their exclusive contracts with 'BlockBerry Creative' were unjust.
In March, the court sided with the four members and the following month, they
joined 'Modhaus,' a newly established agency by Loona's former producer.
'Modhaus' launched its new project
'Artms' with four members, adding one more Loona's member, 'Haseul'.
After a six-year hiatus, 'Odd Eye
Circle' is set to make a comeback with their first album. They will resume
their subunit group activities and kick off their European tour called
"Volume Up" in August.
They are scheduled to perform in major cities like London, Berlin, Warsaw and Paris.
