'Fromis_9' - "Unlock My World" (1st album)
K-pop girl group 'fromis_9' returned
on Monday with its new album "Unlock My World".
The new album is the first full-length
album since its debut in 2018.
In the meantime, the group reformed
into an eight-piece after the departure of member 'Jang Gyuri' last year.
With the new album, fromis_9 also
diversified its sonic genre. From pop dance to R&B, electro-pop and UK
garage music, 'Unlock My World' is a song that shows the band's multifaceted
charm as musicians.
Some of the members contributed to the
production of the songs. 'Park Ji-won' participated in the lyrics and
composition of "Wishlist", 'Baek Ji-heon' wrote the lyrics for
"In the Mirror" and "Prom Night", and 'Lee Seo-yeon' and
'Lee Na-hyung' participated in the composition of "My Night Routine".
The last track, "Eye
Contact" was written by all the members and 'Song Ha-young' participated in
the composition.
'Roh Ji-sun' added that "Unlock My World" is a song about our will to unlock ourselves and move on to a bigger world.
