Fifty Fifty's agency accused 'Warner Music', but 'Warner' denied it.
On the 26th, Fifty Fifty's agency
'Attract' said, “We have recently confirmed an external agency that induced the
artist to terminate the exclusive contract and sign a new contract with new
agency”.
Fifty Fifty's agency 'Attract' pointed out 'Warner Music Korea'.
Fifty Fifty's agency 'Attract'
partnered with 'Warner Records' for its global promotions back in April.
Fifty Fifty's agency 'Attract' asked
'Warner Music Korea' for an accurate explanation and position, saying "We
have already captured substantial evidence of an obvious attempt
illegally".
'Warner Music Korea', which has been
working as the group’s global distributor since April, denied such allegations
through a press statement on Monday.
'Fifty Fifty' is a new girl group that
debuted in November of last year, and recorded a chart-in for 13 weeks on
'Billboard Hot 100' with 'Cupid' released in February.
However, group activities are currently suspended due to surgery of 'Aran' in May and disputes over exclusive contracts caused by external agency.
