'CIX' is a five-member Korean boy band
formed by 'C9 Entertainment' in 2019, consisting of 'Bae Jin-young', 'BX',
'Seunghun', 'Hyunsuk' and 'Yonghee'. The group debuted on July 23, 2019, with
their first EP titled "Hello Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger".
Five-piece boy band 'CIX' on Monday
released its sixth EP "OK Episode 2: I'm OK".
Lead track “Save me, Kill me” which
was also the title of the band’s recent world tour, sings about the beautiful
and tragic moments of youth.
Starting in Seoul in December, 'CIX'
held the second world tour, "Save Me, Kill Me", a 18-city voyage
around Europe, the US and Japan.
According to the members, the tour had
been named after the new album's title song, "Save Me, Kill Me"
The new album marked the end of the
group's "OK" series and opens up to the next chapter of their story,
said the band members.
"We've improved and grown in many
parts through various activities, including the world tour and we melted them
into this album", the band's leader 'BX' said.
The "Hello" series was about the present. Meanwhile, the "OK" series climbs back in the timeline to the past, giving the background to how they arrived at the present story.
