Girl group 'Brave Girls' changed its name to 'BB Girls' and is ready to resume its group activities under a new agency.

'Brave Girls' have signed exclusive contracts with 'Warner Music Korea'.

"We will not hesitate to support their career to the fullest”, said new agency. 

'Warner Music Korea' said that discussions are ongoing on whether to keep the 'Brave Girls' name or take a new group name.

They are likely to continue their career under a new name as their previous agency 'Brave Entertainment' owns the group’s name.

All four members of 'Brave Girls' : 'Minyoung', 'Yujeong', Eunji' and 'Yuna' decided not to extend their exclusive contracts with 'Brave Entertainment' on Feb. 16. 

'Brave Girls' originally debuted in 2011 but the lineup kept changing as the group failed to get traction.

In 2016, the group was relaunched as a 7 member band, among which the current four members were included. The current four members are the second generation of 'Brave Girls'.

The second generation did not achieve commercial success either and was about to disband, looking into other jobs until a YouTube video about 'Rollin' garnered attention in early 2021.

Their single from 4 years ago, "Rollin", rose up the music charts again.

Thereafter, they gained popularity with the title track "Chi Mat Ba Ram" from their 5th EP, "Summer Queen".
