'Aespa' will release "Hold on Tight" as OST "Tetris"
The girl group 'aespa' will release
"Hold on Tight" as part of the original Apple movie soundtrack
"Tetris" (2023) on March 31, announced their agency 'SM'
Entertainment.
"'Hold on Tight' is a techno
track based on the background music of the game 'Tetris', mixed with aespa's
vocals", the agency explained.
The movie soundtrack will also include
songs from the British electronic duo 'Pet Shop Boys', the Swedish heavy metal
rock band Europe and British composer 'Lorne Balfe'.
"Tetris" which will also
premiere on the Apple TV+ streaming service on March 31, is a movie based on
the legal battles to secure the rights to the popular video game
"Tetris".
The quartet of aespa debuted in
November 2020 with four members: 'Giselle', 'Karina', 'Ningning' and 'Winter'.
The group is best known for their successful songs "Black Mamba"
(2020), "Next Level" (2021), and "Girls" (2022).
The girl group will return with a new album in May, according to the agency.
