‘PCR Test after entry’ will be lifted from October 1st. in Korea.



From the 1st of next month, the duty to have a gene amplification (PCR) test, which had to be received within one day upon arrival in Korea, will be lifted.

 

Lee gi-il, Second Vice Minister of Health and Welfare held a major headquarters meeting at the government complex in Seoul on the morning of the 30th and said, he said, the PCR test, which had to be done one day after entering the country, was lifted.

 

The probability of an influx from abroad has been lowered from 1.3% in August to 0.9% in September.

 He said “Those with symptoms within three days of entry can receive free PCR tests at public health centers.”
