"Queenmaker" (Netflix)
A new Netflix political drama, "Queenmaker"
was revealed on Netflix on April 14.
Actresses 'Kim Hee-ae' and 'Moon
So-ri' have joined hands for a new drama "Queenmaker". The series was
directed by 'Oh Jin-suk' and a script was written by 'Moon Ji-young'.
'Hwang Do-hee' (Kim Hee-ae), who is a expert of making strategies and handling publicity.
'Hwang Do-hee finds herself in the cutthroat world of politics when she puts her skills to transform a civil rights lawyer, 'Oh Kyung-sook' (Moon So-ri), into the next mayor of Seoul.
Having the same enemy, the two join
hands to fight against mayoral candidates, including 'Baek Jae-min' (Ryu
Soo-young), the son-in-law of a conglomerate.
In the 12-part series, 'Kim Hee-ae'
will play the role of 'Hwang Do-hee', a consultant who is skilled at shaping
the image of political candidates. She is determined to make human rights
lawyer 'Oh Seung-sook' (Moon So-ri) the new mayor of Seoul.
"Even those who are not interested in politics can enjoy watching how two actresses play their characters out of their comfort zone", director 'Oh Jin-suk' said.
