"The Roundup: No Way Out"
will hit local theaters, May 31.
"The Roundup: No Way Out" is
the third film in the series that began with "The Outlaws" (2017) and
"The Roundup" (2022).
"The Roundup" topped 10
million admissions in local theaters, becoming the country's biggest commercial
hit of 2022.
'Don Lee', better known by his Korean
stage name 'Ma Dong-seok', returns as the monster detective, 'Ma Suk-do' in
"The Roundup: No Way Out".
'Don Lee' not only played the
protagonist and central character but also was one of the main producers for
the film, participating in making the film from the screenwriting process.
'Ma Suk-do' (Don Lee) fights the bad
guys in the film with his fists and animalistic sense of fighting.
'Ma Suk-do' (Don Lee) chases two main
antagonists in "The Roundup: No Way Out".
'Joo Seong-cheol', played by ‘Lee
Jun-hyeok’, is one of the villains who uses his brain before a physical fight,
giving 'Maseok-do' a new challenge.
Japanese actor 'Aoki Munetaka' plays the yakuza 'Riki' and is the first foreign villain in the series.
