"KCON 2023" will take place in Bangkok, Tokyo and Los Angeles

"KCON" (Korea Convention) is the world's largest K-Culture festival held annually by 'CJ Group' since 2012.

It is the first K-Culture festival that combines conventions and concerts under the theme of “all things Korean Wave,” from cultural contents such as 'K-pop', 'K-dramas', and 'K-movies' to high-tech and manufacturing industries such as IT, fashion, and beauty.

This year's "KCON 2023" will take place in Bangkok, Tokyo and Los Angeles and will also be streamed online for those who can't attend in person, CJ ENM said.

"KCON Bangkok" will be held on March 18 and 19 at the Impact Arena and Impact Exhibition Center, followed by a three-day run from May 12 to 14 in Tokyo's 'Makuhari Messe' convention. The LA festival will be held from Aug. 18 to 20 at the Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center.

Next month's KCON will be the first time to be held in Southeast Asia. K-pop bands ‘Ateez’, ‘(G)I-DLE’, ‘IKON’, ‘INI’, ‘ITZY’, ‘Kep1er’, ‘P1Harmony’ and more will perform.

The K-culture festival has been held in various cities around the world since 2021 to introduce Korean food, fashion, music, film and more in culture to overseas audiences.

The festival has been held in an online-and-offline format since last year after taking place online in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
