THE MOON (Movie) (Aug. 2)
The film follows the story of Korea's
first crewed lunar exploration mission and isolation in space. It is scheduled
to be released in theaters on August 2, 2023.
The Moon is a space survival film
written and directed by 'Kim Yong-hwa', starring 'Sol Kyung-gu', 'Do Kyung-soo'
and 'Kim Hee-ae'.
In the near future, the first manned
lunar exploration mission in Korea ends in tragedy due to an explosion.
7 years later, a second human spaceflight is launched successfully but powerful solar storms cause problems with spacecraft. One astronaut, 'Do Sun-woo' is left stranded in space.
Faced with another fatal problem, the 'Naro Space Center' asks Dr. 'Kim Jae-guk', the former director of the center for help to bring 'Do Seon-woo' safely.
