"Haenyeo" is a term used in Korean to refer to 'female divers' who gather various marine products, such as abalone, seaweed, and sea urchins by free diving without the use of scuba equipment.

This traditional occupation has been practiced for centuries in coastal regions of Korea, notably on 'Jeju Island'.

"Haenyeo" are known for their exceptional diving skills, endurance, and deep understanding of the sea.
