'Actor 'Im Si Wan' has been cast as the lead of the second season of "Squid Game", according to a local media.

According to the report, Actor 'Im Si Wan' will star along with 'Lee Jung-Jae' and 'Lee Byung Hun' in second season of the Netflix series.

The second season of "Squid Game" has a budget of more than $77.8 million and began filming this summer with plan to be released around Halloween next year.

The survival drama series, "Squid Game" became a worldwide sensation, garnering critical acclaim and various awards.

'Im Si Wan', who debuted as a member of the boy band 'ZE:A' in 2010, He succeeded as an actor in "Triangle" (2014) and  "Misaeng" (2014). Most recently, he starred in the Netflix film "Unlocked".

'Im Si Wan' will appear in the upcoming movie "Road to Boston", planned for release in September.
